I'm facing an issue where user moved from another cube (which was working as normal) to new cube user get no missed call notification displayed on the phone (7942 phone). I then swap a 7945 for user - experienced same issue. however- when user login into another phone at different location he gets missed call. user then took that working phoen replace with his phone at his desk and get no notification again.
can any one help me with this? thanks in advance.

I've seen this when a phone doesn't get a TFTP server or gets a wrong one via DHCP. If it has a configuration stored and a ITL file it will fall back to use that for registration, but then call directories on the phone will not work.
Check switch port configuration is my first advice.

very very likely related to the fact there is no option 150/ TFTp server.
check your configuration on your dhcp server

you can check on the 7945 as well to what your TFTP server points, go to settings, device configuration, under IPV4 go down until you get your TFTP server info and confirm if that is your CUCM.
