Missed call

Hi

call routing.png

Called number 30007800:

  1. The call goes from the voice gateway (VG) to the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
  2. CUCM translates the number 7800 to 8800.
  3. The call is then routed to a third-party SIP server.
  4. An IVR system is running, and when the user presses 1, the call is forwarded to hunt group 8880 (sequential).
  5. The hunt group consists of three numbers.
  6. The call is routed back to CUCM.

The problem arises here: if extensions 7858 or 7859 miss the call, the call is not showing in the call history on the phones.

How to check the issue ?

Please help

Hi @bluesea2010 ,

If you make a direct internal call to one of these extensions without involving the Hunt Pilot, do you encounter the same issue?

For example if 7858 dials 7859, and user does not answer the call, does the phone 7859 display the missed call in call history?

i suggest redesign your scenario, so Call Flow will works more reliable..
(specially you are using 3rdparty server for IVR, not CUC or UCCX..)

>> put your 3rdparty IVR server, behind of VoiceGateway, so Calls directly hit on IVR >> then hunt group will trigger >> and finally will forwarded to CUCM..
