I'm playing around with the mobility feature of CUCM (I'm on 8.6.2)
I can use the *81 & *83 codes to hold and resume a call. But how does the transfer *84 work ? I can't find any docs on how a user uses the mobility feature; Only docs on how a sysadmin sets it up in CCMAdmin !

Did you configure the Service Parameters?
Midcall Enterprise Feature Access Support Using DTMF—You can configure DTMF feature codes as service parameters: enterprise hold (default equals *81), enterprise exclusive hold (default equals *82), resume (default equals *83), transfer (default equal *84), and conference (default equals *85).
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/8_6_1/ccmfeat/fsmobmgr.html
You should be able to just dial *84 and type the number you want to transfer the call to.

Yes...
As I said, *81 (Hold) and *83 (Resume) work. I can't get *84 (Transfer) to work.

What happens when you dial *84? Do you get a second dial tone or a fast busy etc
