I have a DID trunk group of 4 analog groundstart trunk groups configured for wink-start signaling. Verizon now says for sure they are sending all the digits but I am not recieving them correctly, and in fact at this point am only recieving the first digit which is a "2". For reasons know only to them they want to send 10 digits (something about some of the ported numbers beginning with a "0" or "9") so what I should see is 202554xxxx.
I have attached the output of "show vpm signaling" and "Show voice-port 0/3/0" which is one of the trunks. If anyione who know more then me could sanity-check this and verify they don't see anything amiss it would be great!

I don't see your debug output. Also, you say, "groundstart trunk groups configured for wink-start signaling" There technically is no such thing that I have ever heard of. Analog DID should be E&M wink start normally, although the options to wink start are sometimes 'immediate start' or 'delay dial' So, it could possibly be a configuration error if you have DID trunks configured as ground start.
Also, you can easily test a DID trunk with a test set by simulating the wink. Just connect the test set directly to the port on your router with telco disconnected. You should get a light to indicate battery and if you 'wink' by flashing the test set off hook and on hook you should then be able to dial digits. Not sure about Cisco, but some PBX systems will also give you dial tone and not even require the wink to receive digits like an FXS port.

Hi, probably just a matter of naming things, as there is something commonly called wink-start for analog DID, see a third-party documentation:
http://www.shiprush.com/product_documentation/omnirush/DID__Ordering_the_DID_Phone_Line.htm
Anyway without seeing the traces it's hard to say what the problem could be.

I'm a bit puzzled by this:
May 27 17:58:07 EDT: htsp_timer_stop wrong offhook eventhtsp_alert_notifyhtsp_call_service_msghtsp_call_service_msg not EFXS (1)
May 27 17:58:09 EDT: htsp_process_event: [0/3/3, DID_OFFHOOK, E_DSP_SIG_0100]did_offhook_onhook
Not sure why the port goes onhook. Whih exact IOS is this, do you have something else to try ?

2801 Software (C2801-IPVOICEK9-M), Version 12.4(23), RELEASE SOFTWARE
Here is the port config:
voice-port 0/3/0
signal did wink-start
Verizon has a tech out and they show they are outpulsing 10 digits. However, when I asked about what timing setting I should be using they started playing stupid.
Anyone have any idea. I am using the defaults for timing but obviously something is not right.

Shouldn't did-digit-length 10 be in there? Did you try testing without telco with a phone or test set?
