I have a receptionist that has a BLF Speed Dial for a subsection of the employees with the company. She is able to answer these lines. However, when a call comes in on one of these lines it gives a short beep and nothing else. What is the best way to get the line to actually ring?
We would rather not add the numbers as lines on the phone if that can be avoided (we wouldn't want a call to be made by the receptionist on someone else's line). I have thought about using Call Pickup Groups with an Audio notification but haven't been able to segment it so that it is only her phone that would ring (I don't want all 15 phones ringing every time someone gets a call on everyone's phone).
Is what we are trying to accomplish possible without adding the numbers as lines?
