Does anyone know how the conference controller can mute the callers that call in for a Meet-Me conference call? Apparently, we recently had a major Meet-Me call with assorted dept heads and state agencies calling in, and not everyone was kind enough to mute the phone on their end, so the controller has asked me if there's any way to mute callers so that the only person speaking is the controller himself. Any thoughts would be appreciated. (I have CUCM 10.5 and use 7965G phones). -Beth

Hi Bethany,
I checked the SRND as well as the Service Parameters in the CCM and I could not locate anywhere where it describes any way to define that.
More over, Cisco explicitly mentions Meet Me as an Rendezvous Meeting and is mostly basic configuration. For features like PIN, Mute etc I am afraid you may want to go the route of WebEx (in cloud or on premises) which is part of the CUWL Pro.

Hi.
Just to add a tip to what Jaime correctly mentioned, with cucm 11.x you can setup a conference number per user with access code feature.
Being based on meetme, here is reported the mute restriction.
