We have a client who is reporting their phones ringing while the night-service schedule is active. I haven't found out yet if they are ringing with a burst as I understand they should during the night-service. My question is - in order to avoid the phones ringing at all during the night-service and forwarding directly to the call-forward destination, can I remove the night-service bell config from the ephone-dn or will that disable the night-service schedule for it completely? Configuration snippets below..

Hi there,
Yes, you can remove the Night Service Bell config without impacting the actual night service functionality.
To mark an ephone-dn for night-service treatment, use the night-service bell command in ephone-dn configuration mode. To remove the night-service treatment from the ephone-dn, use the no form of this command.
night-service bell
no night-service bell

But won't that remove that phone as a participant in the night-service schedule? We still want the phone to follow the schedule, just not ring and go straight to voicemail

My bad! Yes, you are correct the Night service bell works hand in hand with;
call-forward night-service 87700 <----------voicemail-----<<<
Cheers!
