No Accent Mark Sensitive Search in IP Phone Corporate Directory?

Hi,

Here is my problem:

- Our IP Phone's Corporate Directory are sync with LDAP.

- User's Names and Last Names have latin characters like "á,é,í,ó,ú..." in our organization. So, LDAP fields have the names with this characters.

- End user who want to search a someone's number usually doesn't search in Corporate Directory using this characters and other times, this names are not correct written in LDAP.

- For example:

         -We want to search in Corporate Directory by name "Tomás". We would like to search both "Tomas" and "Tomás" and having the same result.

Is this possible? Ideas?

Hello eveyrone,

I believe that this cannot be done with out-of-the-box CUCM. However, you can use 2Ring IPPS (IP Phone Services) - it is part of its base module. Check it out at www.2Ring.com/ipps and you can even request a free trial at www.2Ring.com/newjuice.
