Hi
I have got a problem with no audio on calls when calling between 2 CUCM clusters via SIP trunk. It works from Cluster 2 to Cluster 1 but not vice versa. Call get connected (ringing) but after I pick up the call I can't hear anything. There is no firewall between those 2 phones. Thank you for help.
Cluster 1: x.x.x.136
Cluster 2: x.x.x.73
ACME SIP proxy: x.x.x.141
Topology looks like this:
CUCM Cluster 1 -> ACME SIP proxy -> CUCM Cluster 2
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SIP trace from ACME SIP proxy (x.x.x.141). Call from Cluster 1 to Cluster 2, !!!! UNSUCESSFULL !!!

Hi,
It sounds like a codec negotiation issue. Judging from your trace, you plan to use G.729 across or ?
Try to remove G.729 Annex B silence suppresion as a G.729 variant. Go to:
System -> Services -> "Choose any Server" -> Cisco Callmanager
"Strip G.729 Annex B (Silence Suppression) from Capabilities Required Field" and set it to True.
It will automatically get replicated to all nodes in your cluster.
It might help or it might be something else.

Hello Rasdolav
From the network of the IP Phone registered in cluster 1 to the network of the IP Phone registered on the cluster 2 do you have reachability?
Thanks

Hi
the issue is solved now. The problem was with the "Silence Suppression" suppression as David descripted. Once we turned it off it started to work. Thank you!

David,
Thanks very much for this solution, not even Cisco TAC has been able to pinpoint this issue until I decided to look at the traces and troubleshoot this myself.
Kudos for you!
Wilson
