Hi all,
I have a lot of problems with cisco 2911 with IOS: c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-4.M5 in FXS port.
I don't have dial tone in FXS port, always busy.
I configured the port as stcapp, Incoming calls works ok, but there is no dial tone.
I done upgrade downgrade, port is working fine with STACPP in C-881 V (dial tone is ok) but not in cisco 2911.
Any idea?

Hi;
Try applying:
cptone (followed by country code i.e. GB for the UK) to the analogue voice ports

Hi,
In addition to above, You need to configure correct "Locale" on CUCM for that endpoint(analog port). This will configure automatically correct cptone value under that analog voice port.

Hi.
If you are in a CME setup using STCAPP, verify that you have a dialpeer using service stcapp followed by port X/X/X where FXS is located

I have VG204 (MGCP), I dont have dial tone on all 4 FXS ports. Port 0/0 is configured as POTS and port0/1 as LS. Below is the configuration I have on ports and dial peers.
