Hi there,
I am trying to configure a 11201 Nortel with CUCM.
Anyone can give a how to on that ?
what I did so far:
On cucm I uploaded the :
SIP1120e04.00.04.00.bin
*And reset the tftp server.
I have configure the dhcp server with option 150 / 66 that point to CUCM.
I have a connection error with the TFTP server....

I do not if this is the problem, but the phone is looking for a file that is not there. But my guess is that you have too many periods in the name of the file. It should probably be SIP1120e04000400.bin if 1120e04000400 is the mac of the phone.
Try that.

check the tftp packet capture to make sure phone is requesting the file from tftp server.

Hi guys,
I allready configure the CUCM part for the SIP 3rd party, this is fine because it work with a polycom or a softphone.
The problem is the 1120E.. I don't know what it need to register. There is a lot of manual parameters available but this is not too friendly.
I will try to find information on the phones it self to work on other PBX...
If anyone allready work with this phone, please let me know if you have some advices.

This issue as come up in the past, on a previous forum posting here:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/1162838-32462/
The SIP Firmware version is a bit older, but the programming steps for the Nortel phone are the same.

I'm still on it, cant find the solution.
Basicly, I am 90% sure that my tftp server side is well configure. ( All SIP firmware and .cfg file are there for the 1120E )
On my tftp side, it's pretty much if the phone doesnt try to contact the tftp at all.
dhcp setting option 66 and 150 point to the tftp server
I configure manually the S1 as tftp server.
but no idea why it's not trying to speak to the server.
I did a span port of the phone but i can't find nothing interesting.
anyone?
