Dear All,
I have removed NTP reference from date/time group and there were 6500 phones depending on it.
Both SCCP & SIP phones, and all the sccp phones rebooted immediately after the change, but only a very few SIP phones rebooted.
If the phones do not come up, how I do fix this issue?
Restarting (Primary & Secondary)TFTP service will help in this case?

So your phones are not re-registering?
restarting the TFTP service might work, but there is no indication that that is the issue, so its hit and miss.
Take one of the phones and bounce the switchport it is connected to. start with that

After restarting TFTP service brought all the phones up.
But why should I restart TFTP service in first place, phone must re-registered automatically, correct me, please?

Phones should ideally reregister after any reset but in some cases there might be an issue with the config file that is served to the phones or in the TFTP communication between cucm and IP phones and a TFTP service restart helps to fix such issues.
