only Line 1 dials out automatically, other lines will not dial out

weird issue it just started happening few days ago out of nowhere,  the usual procedure to make a phone call by most of my users is to pick up the handset listen to the Tone and dial out 9,xxxxxxxxxx, that only works on the default line or Line 1, if the user picks up the handset and select Line 2 or 3 or any other line, waits for the tone and start dialing, the phone seems to not recognize that numbers are been dial, the user can keep pressing numbers and it will show on the screen but the phone will never make the call, even removing the CSS from the device and DN does not affect that the user can keep pressing any number sequence and the phone will not prompt any errors or dial out.

 

Now, if the user dials the number without picking up the headset or speakerphone, and then press the 'call' softbutton it does dials out without problems.

 

Any clues?

Sounds like a defect in phone firmware. Have you by any chance recently updated it on the phones that have this problem?

I would agree with Roger, try to upload to the latest supported firmware and test the performance again.
