Hi guys, i'm preparing a server to install Operations Manager 2.2, and in a part of the documentation it says this requirement: "The system where Operations Manager is to be installed must be configured for DNS". Does it mean that the server has to be a DNS server or it has to have DNS servers configured at ip network settings.
I'm attaching the Installation Guide, so you can see this requirement on page 33.
Thanks,
Luis Felipe

Hi Luis,
It means you should have a DNS server available somewhere in your network to resolve all hostnames. No need to have the DNS running on the OM itself.

Marina
