Outgoing calls - Fast Busy tone

Hi guys,

i'm having some troubles with a router cisco 2800 series with a CUCM routing outgoing calls, all I receive is a fast busy tone from my CIPC when trying to reach a local or international number, any feedback would be appreciated,

First make sure cucm is routing the call to the gateway via dialed  number analsyer. Then CUCM ip address should be added in trust list for the h323 gateway.

Also you need to bind interface for H323 for cucm communication can you refer to H323 gateway sample config on cisco.

Lastly I don't see voip dial-peer for voip leg between CUCM and gateway.?

trying to add voip dial-peer:

CUCMSV001(config)#dial-peer voice 3 voip
CUCMSV001(config-dial-peer)#destination-pattern 92.......
CUCMSV001(config-dial-peer)#session target ipv4:192.168.1.200
CUCMSV001(config-dial-peer)#
*May 1 06:16:42.815: %CALL_CONTROL-6-CALL_LOOP: The incoming call has a global identfier already present in the list of currently handled calls. It is being refused.

Thanks

I was assuming you are using CUCM with 2800 router as GW  but as Suresh pointed out  it looks like it is CME router .

As per trace call is getting disconnected with cause code 31.

Called number is being sent as 8 digit  so check with service provider if this needs to send a TON-subcriber as this looks like local call.

What digits are they expecting and confirm TON and Plan and then change it accordingly using translation -profile.thanks

Are the calls failing only from CIPC or from any hard phone as well. Can you try to uncheck "Optimize for Low Bandwidth" on CIPC by going to Preferences >> Network and then try

I think it is only CME router. you need to attach debug isdn q931 traces here, also check plan and type as per service provider.

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

This is what i've got from the debug isdn q931 command

Hello Flores,

Here DISCONNECT message is coming from service provider side, so you need to check with them also. Or meanwhile  try to change plan and type once as suggested earlier.

Suresh

The cuestion is that when I try to reach numbers that doesn't exist, I can hear the Local provider recording,

Any help for trying to change plan and type?

Thanks

Can you attach "debug isdn q931" traces of one incoming call, so we see what plan & type service provider is using and we can apply the same for outbound calls. Below is the example to change it.

Step 1: Create a translation rule.

voice translation-rule 10

rule 1 // // type unknown national plan isdn unknown

Step 2: Create translation profile

voice translation-profile isdn_map

translate called 10

Step 3: then apply this profile to POTS dial peer as below.

dial-peer voice 1 pots
    translation-profile outgoing isdn_map

Suresh
