Phone 6901 show red color only?

Dear all,

Do you know how to troubleshooting on phone 6901 show only red color ? when i plug cable to telephone it show the light only red color.

please advice.

Hi Rechard,

If the phone is unresponsive and if it is stuck in this stage it is more likely a hardware issue.

How many phones are behaving this way ?

Have you tried to do the factory reset?

i tried but it show only red color cannot do anything.

Does it problem with IOS?

how can i upload new IOS in to this phone?

I guess the phone has worked at some point?

I don't think a new phone firmware would help.

Maybe get a network sniff on the port it is connect to and see what it is doing?

What platform are you using? CME? CUCM?
