We just upgraded from Call Manager 4.3 to Unified CM 7.1(2). Since the upgrade, all our phones show unregistered, and we cannot manage them from UCM. How do we fix this?

From your posting I am assuming that:-
A) The phone are registered and working
B) Access the phone admin pages
If this is the case check the RIS service is running on all ‘Cisco RIS Data Collector’ is running on all the servers in your cluster
then check the database replication status is good using the ‘Unified reports’ as documented in http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a00809643e8.shtml

so the problem was, we had our subscriber still running the older version, and the conflict was causing a database error. took the subscriber offline to upgrade and everything registered and popped up perfectly.
