Hi all.
We have two CCM (1 publisher and 1 subscriber).
Now all phones register on publisher.
We want to make some "load balancing" and register some phones on subscriber.
We have made a new VLAN, a new dhcp scope, and in this scope we have configured subscriber as TFTP server (with option 150).
Phones get address on new vlan, get tftp ip of subscriber, but register always on publisher.
Where I'm wrong?
Thanks
Daniele

Hi,
You need to create a new CallManager Group with the subscriber listed first. Then create a new device pool for the phones that you want on the Sub making sure to select your new CM Group. You will then need to make sure that the phones you want on the SUb are added to this device pool.
Also you may want to change your Option 150 on the DHCP Scope to the Pub as usually in small CM deployments the Pub does TFTP and Database Updates, and the Subscribers look after the call processing and phone registration etc...
Hope this helps, if so please rate.
Regards,
Dave

make ccm groups
select ccm servers according to priority and put it in diff device pools
make the publisher as TFTP server always
in DHCP pool give the ccm ipaddress priority wise
