Points of sale terminals and PSTN configuration. advice.

Dear Networkers,

We have to implement the followong IP Telephpny archtiecture:

- 2x CUCM v9 cluster

- 2x 2951 VG with two VWIC3-2MFT-E1

- 300 IP Phones

The client have about 50 POS terminals (Point of sales terminals) and would like to use them with the cisco IP Tel solution over PSTN.

Is there a solution for this ? can we use VG224 ? or we need to use FXS ports on the Voice Gateways ?

Can you please advice ?

What type of connections do these POS terminals use? If these are simply analog devices you can definitely use VG224 or FXS ports on the GW, VG224 would make more sense economically for this number of devices.
