I'm trying to get a Polycom soundstation 4000 working with CUCM 8 and can't find any documentation to tell me how to do this. Since the Polycom 4000 is SIP capable, it would seem to me that I could set this up in CUCM as a 3rd party SIP device. I cannot get the Polycom to register with CUCM however. Has anyone done this and knows what needs to be set on the Polycom to get it to connect to CUCM?
Thanks,
Glenn

Try this:
Create a user with a username and password of the extension.
Create a Third Party SIP Advanced device.
Associate the username as the digest user.
Create a DN with the extension number.
