I am have added 2 4 port FXO cards to my gateway, these lines will be tied to a specific DID. I have the numbers of the POTs lines. my question is what do I need to add to the config of the gateway to get these ports to work?

First you need to determine what is the signaling (groud-start vs. loop-start), second the config depends on protocol you will use as if you are going to use MGCP then all config is on CUCM side, if H323 or SIP (recommended) then here is an example config:
voice-port 0/1/0
trunk-group POTS 1 (for outbound selection, this makes it the first member of trunk group called POTS)
supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call
cable-detect
no vad
no comfort-noise
timeouts call-disconnect 5
timeouts wait-release 5
timing hookflash-out 50
connection plar XXXX (where XXXX is the destination you want the call to go to)
description ???
caller-id enable
then build proper dial-peers:
voip dial peer that matches the destination pattern to XXXX
pots dial peer for outbound calling that point to either this port directly or trunk group POTS:

Hi,
We need to know more before we can accurately asnwer this question..
1. What call control agent are you using? CUCM or CCME
2. If this is CUCM what type of gateway is this configured as? H323 or MGCP
3. What is your dial plan like. Do the DID match the xtensions of the phones?
