PRI Utilization Report

We have 4 PRI Lines termination on 3 H323 VG. One VG terminates Two PRI Lines.

Need a mechanism to check the PRI Utilization over period of Time.

What i have found is In RTMT you can monitor the PRI Usage but we have to keep RTMT Counter On and save the Counter which is not practical for our scenario.

Second option i tried was to use the command  "show controller E1 call-counters" but below is what i get

MAFF-DC-VG02#show controllers e1 call-counters
Controller E1 0/0/0 does not support displaying this data

Total DS0's Active High Water Mark: 0
Total Calls since System Bootup: 0

I have CISCO2911/K9  with c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.154-3.M1.bin.

Any ideas why above command  doesnt work or any alternate method to get the PRI Utilization Reprot ??

Hi,

You should be able to get channel utilisation through SNMP traps if you have an SNMP Management server.  Please see below article for MIB details and configuration.
