problem with CIPC call forwarding

Guys,

Please help me. My client has a 7960 phone configured. He prefers using the CIPC phone instead because he prefers the microphone. I tried configuring call forward to his cell phone but it does not work . Please advice me on how to solve the problem.

Transfer-pattern ... (will limit xfer of calls to only 3 digits)

Remove the "call-forward pattern ..." and try again. Leave the call-forward pattern .T in place

I have noticed that the 9 is being dropped. By the was, i tried sth like this without the prefix and there was a connection to God knows where. But i read that we always have to include the dialed prefix (98):

Three things that we see is this

1. The CIPC is redirecting the call properly  

Called Number=989268993633(TON=Unknown, NPI=Unknown),

   Redirect Number=999, Display Info=Support

2. The second thing is that the voip leg shows us that the correct number is passed to the POTS leg with outgoing dial-peer 34

3. The debug isdn shows us what is going on at the POTS leg. The leading 9 is been stripped..

Now question is why is the 9 stripped off. Without seeing your config I am only taking a guess. And my guess is that you have

1. either configure destination-pattern 9T on dial-peer 34 and by default pots dial-peer will strip the 9 or any defined digit

2. Or configured the wrong forward digits length on dial-peer voice 34 pots.

To resolve this you need to do the ff:

1. Either configure a prefix 9 on that dial-peer or configure forward-digits 12 on it. Please know that all calls will be sent to the PSTN with the 9. If you only want to send this particular number with 9 then you need to create a differenet dial-peer and apply the suggestions I mentioned above
