Recomendations for IP Phone

We have a few remote users who want IP phones setup at their homes, which can then use the internal phone system (on Asterisk).

These users currently connect to the private network over Remote Access IPSec VPN, through an ASA 5510.

My question is what IP Phone solution would be recommended? Is there some sort of IP Phone that can connect to the users PC and then speak to our private network through that PC's VPN link?

I have checked out IP phones such as the Cisco SPA525G2 which has VPN built in, howerver this appears to only offer Anyconnect VPN, and not IPSec, which would mean buying Anyconnect licenses, and im not even sure it works on a 5510...

Are there any Cisco IP phones which have built in IPSec vpn?

Thanks!

You can definitely do anyconnect on a 5510 ASA assuming you license it. But you’d probably be better off either giving them something like an 880W at home that does the point to point tunnel then you can power the phone from it and not worry about the phone doing the tunneling. You might look up telework examples that are out there.
