register message (SCCP) from a ipphone.

Hi Sarah,

This doesnt appear to have anything to do with the ephone or ephone-dn config. I took a pcap for a CIPC and I see

"StationInstance: 0" whereas the ephone tag for this phone is 3. It could possibly be associated with the phone type/model or the skinny load it is running, since this is a register message coming from the endpoint.

http://www.wireshark.org/docs/dfref/s/skinny.html

Field name Type Description Versions
skinny.stationInstanceUnsigned integer, 4 bytesStation instance1.0.0 to 1.8.3

There isnt much documentation on it apparently.

HTH.

Regards,

Harmit.
