Hi all,
We have just installed CUCM for our new telephone system moving away from a pabx. First post on here so please be kind.
On our old system when the MD called any other internal extension number a different ringtone played on the other phone he was calling. This was inplace so people knew it was the MD calling them rather than just another sales call for example.
1: Is it possible to do this or anything similar on CUCM?
2: If so how do we go about doing this?

I know the traditional and analog pbx manufactured even in 1980's support this feature but not here now.

It is not possbile to set the Ringtone based on caller's Extension/ANI. You can change the ring tone on each line, but it cannot be done depending on what extension is calling .
In case, you want to set up Distinctive Ringlist for the lines on phone then refer to below document:
