Scenario is
2 phones[both 8831] registered with same call manager accepting different firmwares. If i try the latest with the other one it fails. Only difference is both phones connected to different switches. DHCP is the same, TFTP server the same. In the switch i verified both mab asnd dotx running for the interfaces.
Any quick help here

Try to remove ITL/CTL file form affected phone or do factory reset and then check once.

Hi -
Can you let us know what version of CUCM you are running? Also, what are the working / not working versions of firmware on the 8831's? There is a mid step firmware you might have to upgrade the non-working 8831 to before moving to the most current version.
