I'm trying to configure the second ISDN on the same gateway but I cannot get this working.

I would be grateful if I could have some help with the configuration? I need to send the incoming traffic for both ISDNs to the call manager. The config that i havefor the first ISDN;

controller E1 0/0/0

pri-group timeslots 1-24 service mgcp

interface Serial0/0/0:15

no ip address

encapsulation hdlc

isdn switch-type primary-net5

isdn incoming-voice voice

isdn bind-l3 ccm-manager

no cdp enable

Hi,

what is the number of time slots u are configuring for second E1 PRI?

In your existing E1 PRI, are u using first 24 TS[fractional PRI]

can u share complete config?

Hi,

If u have dual port E1 card , then u need to configure controller e1 0/0/1 since 0/0/0 is already configured.

If u do not have second E1 port available, then u won't be able to configure.

accordingly, u need to buy one E1 port card if router has slot available or replace the existing card with Dual E1 port card.

u are using BRI voice cards[ VIC2-2BRI-NT/TE].

you need to configure BRI instead of E1 PRI.

I'm trying to configure the BRI. The BRI that I need to configure is BRI0/3/0, But when I want to configure the voice-port it says 0/3/0 is invalid.

It has to be bri0/1/0 or bri0/2/0 .

you are trying to configure for HWIC-1B-U which is used for WAN connectivity.

these ports already got configured. still I cannot see any traffic for the new ISDN :/

maybe I bought the wrong card? I have got HWIC-1B-U in order to connect the second ISDN to the router.
