Sending Messages in UC Web Inbox

Hello all,

I'm trying to send an uploaded or recorded message to all users via Web Inbox for a similar reason such as this thread:

I'm able to search and select users to send to in the new message window, upload or record the message but when I actually hit the send button a message pops up in Web Inbox saying there are no recipients listed for this message and a blank IE tab opens up pointing to https://unity/inbox/voicefiles/filename.wav.

Am I missing configuration somewhere to get this working?  There are recipients I've selected in the To field (look like username@cuc-pub). I've looked at doing this through the Broadcast Message Administrator as well but the fact it doesn't light up the MWI makes it an undesirable solution.

I've uploaded a screenshot.  Running UC 8.5.

Just looking at the screenshot, it doesn't look you tried

the Distribution list method (maybe allusers) that we were

discussing in that thread....or did you?

There are also a number of 8.5 bugs related to the web inbox like;

Voice mail can be send via TUI

Hi Rob, thanks for the reply.

I had previously tried with a Private List I created in my personal Messaging Assistant with the same result.  I just tried creating a new Distribution list on my Unity server but again same result, worth a try though.

It is starting to look like I'm hitting a bug since the recipient field is being populated after I type the first few letters of a user or group and click on the suggestion provided but it still tells me no recipients are present.  Good thing I just happen to be moving to 8.6.2 next Thursday.

Points to you my friend for digging up dusty case files and the ditribution list suggestion.
