showing DSP in use

Excuse the weird question, I`m trying to find out how many DSP we have used. I know we can use use SH DSP , SH VOICE DSP VOICE etc but Im tryng to remember the other commend I think it is something like Show MS.... or MB.... etc It shows what are being used and what are spare

The show voice dsp group all can show you the dsp usage.

You can use "show voice dsp group all".  An example of such
output is:

W1MS-C#sh voice dsp group all
DSP groups on slot 0:
 This command is not applicable to slot 0

DSP groups on slot 1:
 This command is not applicable to slot 1

DSP groups on slot 2:
 This command is not applicable to slot 2

DSP groups on slot 3:

Hi,

The show diag will not show the dsp's that are spare and the dsp's that are actually in use.It will just give you all the PVDM's that are in the router.

Use "Show call resource voice stats" this will show the active DSP utilization in Voice gateway.

Please is example of output

DSP Statistics:

Utilization: 0 percent

Total channels: 120

Inuse channels: 35

Disabled channels: 0

Pending channels: 0

Free channels: 85

DS0 Statistics:

Utilization: 0 percent

Total channels: 96

Addressable channels: 48

Inuse channels: 35

Disabled channels: 24

Free channels: 13
