Hi All,
I have this setup, centralised call manager cluster with a remote site. Remote site-->HQ calls are G729. HQ calls use G711. I recently implemented a SIP connection out to the ITSP which uses G711 alaw. Now outbound calls work with no issues for the head office but remote site calls are not working.
We implemented a transcoder and with it the issue still exist.
CUCM version 9.1
Voice GW- 2951
Any ideas.

Does the SIP trunk has access to the XCODER?

Does the carrier only support G711, or do they offer G729 as well?
Do you use Early offer?
Can you provide "debug ccsip messages" from you CUBE (identify called and calling number)?
