Dear all
i have a project of 200 IP phones, i am using CM 9.1 with Cisco router 2911/v with pvdm3-64 and one E1 card, Now ISP will provide DID range with Sip trunk for inbound and outbound calls.now i need to terminate ISP on cisco router and router will be connected with CM as sip trunk.
Share with me if you have a complete document to figure all this scenario, i did not configured ISP based SIP trunk before thats why i am confused,
ISP provided us LIve ip with vlan , we will terminate it on local interface of router or E1 interface, i think local giga will be suitable but how we will use DSP resources(pvdm3-64) for the calls ?? please tell me which port will be used and how.
please help me i have to deploy this scenario.

Hi,
you are more than welcome.
for the incoming called dial-peer you can add incoming called-number . under the dial-peer towards ISP
direct-inward-dial is for pots dial-peer not voip dial-peer.

Hi,
the PVDM is used when you E1/T1 interface. in your scenario you need to configure SIP trunk between your Voice GW and ISP.
you need to confirm the below settings:
Codec
SIP sever ip address
DTMF
you will create voip dial-peer toward your ISP and another dial-peer toward your call manager.
in this you are deploying CUBE. you need to configure
voice service voip
allow sip to sip
don't forget to add CUCM and ISP in the trust list under voice service voip

You need to configure NAT for sure. because your internal network is not routable in ISP network
