SIP trunk CUCM-Mitel 3300

Dear all,

Am having cucm pub/sub version 8.5 which i need to configure sip trunk to call 3xxx,4xxx & 5xxx in the Mitel 3300 ICP.

Mitel will call only 2xxx in the cisco CUCM.

From CIsco cucm side i follow the  steps in the link below, is there something missing from cucm side to be able call and receive call from Mitel; Maybe configuration or license missing for example....????? As from Mitel side, a license is needed for sip trunk...

CUCM does not need any license for SIP trunks to any PBX or Routers, if you have set up the trunks and route patterns properly and still not able to call then please share details of the exact issue.

If you are getting any error as fast busy, I would recommend go to the following:

https://ServerIp/dna/showHome.do

Check for the inbound CSS applied on the SIP trunk level for calls coming from Mitel and put in the 3xxx and 4xxx DN information and confirm if they are allowed to make calls or not.

If not, you will need to check for any overlapping patterns in your environment that might be causing issue.

Hi Hitesh again,
i glance from your post that i need to check the inbound CSS applied on SIP trunk coming from Mitel. From the steps of link i posted before in step 3(5), do i make it the same (default) or highest level?

Another question, the ip phones Directory lines configured in the cucm (2xxx) are having an external phone number mask 608902xxx,
Will Mitle phones  be able to call them directly to their extensions 2xxx or Mitel phone has to dial the whole number 608902xxx??\

Which inbound CSS you need to configure in that SIP trunk?? That's completely up to your configuration, it needs to reach the DNs you want to call, only you know that, based on what you have configured.

External phone mask has no bearing for receiving calls, that's just how the DNs will be shown when they call someone.

And you're supposed to adjust the link for DNA with YOUR CUCM's IP where it says ServerIp...
