SIP Trunk Query

Hello Everyone,

I have a query regarding SIP trunk configuration on CUCM. Below is the setup:

CUCM 1 (SIP Trunk, DP:5060) >>> CUCM 2 (SIP Trunk, DP:5061)

If I configure SIP trunk from CUCM1 towards CUCM2 using port 5060, but on CUCM 2 I create a SIP trunk with port 5061 towards CUCM1 will it impact my calls between the two CUCM?

Thanks

The destination port on one CUCM only has to match the SIP Trunk Security Profile port number on the opposite CUCM.

E.g., Non standard SIP send/recv ports

Cluster Listens On Sends On
1 5066 5067
2 5067 5066

5061 is secured SIP. If you aren't using secured SIP at both ends, calls
won't work.

Otherwise, you can change SIP service port number in CUCM service
parameters and point the trunk on the other CUCM to the custom port such as
8918
