spanish locale in 7911 with cucm 8

Hi

I am trying to change the locale in IPPhones 7911 under CUCM 8.0.2.

There are several 7911 already in spanish but when i have tried to add new phones but it does not update the locale from english to spanish, those new phones are new.

The firmware installed in all phones is SCCP11.9-0-2SR1S, I have tried to change to 9-3-1 or 8-2-2 but always via web from IPPhones I see "error updating locale" and remain in english.

In cisco the firmware for version 7 is in .exe or .zip and CUCM does not recognise that extension and cannot to upgrade from OS,

Does anybody know how to change the locale? or why I receive this error?

Furthermore, what happen if I add another locale in CUCM, for the same language but newer, which one will the phones take??

Did you try this specific 8.0 locale file;

Cisco Unified Communications Locale Installer 8.0.3.2000-1 Spanish (Spain) for Cisco Unified Communications Manager 8.0

Hi, thanks for your reply, finally the firmware 8-4-4 was sucess for those 7911 and charge spanish locale.

One question about it is 2 7911 is after make a factory reset, now are blocked in upgrading state, and trying to make another factoy reset remains blocked.

Does anybody know how to recover those ipphones???
