All all,
2 weeks ago i posted the issues i had with CME-SRST... where inbound call fails but out going calls are ok... with no solution i decided to configure normal SRST using call-manager-fallback..
Phones register ok
internal calls are ok
in bound call ok
however out bound calls fail.....
Attached are the config..... debug isdn q931 and debug voip ccapi inout
HELP!!!!!!!!
thanks
Okechi
I forgot to add ... during SRST when you do CSIM START command, the call goes through .. but dailing the same number that worked with csim start on the phone .. it fails...
and the ISDN cause code says normal call clearing...

Hello,
I don't see anything wrong on the config , however can you please try this :
1- add this command to the voice-port : compand-type a-law
2- delete the dial-peer 92 since it is the same as 9

Verify what your plan and type are when the call is being sent out normally without invoking SRST. It may that you may need to set up some rules that set your ISDN plan/type accordingly.

I was going through the config line by line again and discovered a school boy error.. globally the ISDN switch type was set to primay-net5... but on the interface it was set to primary-5ess.. which superceeds the global one....I will change the interface to primary-net5 and test again.. i will post my findings

The Problem is resolved >>. SRST inboud and out bound calls
work OK...
Root Cause
==========
Configured a different ISDN switch type on the serial interface.
