Tool to identify mac-address IP Phone starting serial number

     Hi Guys,

My Customer is doing inventory and have only the serial number about the IP Phone (He don´t have mac-address). He don´t know if the equipment is turn on or not and not where this phone is. My question is: Are there any tools or any software able to found the mac-address starting the serial number?

You need the Net Framework 3.0 on XP.

After  installed you will put the ip address range of the ip phones network  and he will collect the serial number of the phones and other  informations:

The ouput file is an html file and you can copy to word or excel

IP Address

Phone DN

Serial No

MAC Address

Model No

Hi Leonardo,

My case is specific. The equipment there is in inventory, but, my Customer don´t know where the equipament is and too know is IP Phone is turn on. This procedure that You send for me is valious, but, maybe not is used for my situation. I am correct about my opinion?

There is no released tool to know a mac address from serial number.
