Is there anyway for a handset on a FXS port to transfer a call ??
I appreciate that they do not have softkeys like 'call pickup' 'call park' 'transfer' 'conference'
Is there a way of using the keypad
- for example press '**4' to pickup or '**6' to transfer
Any help appreciated !

Configure FXS port for SCCP mode (described in documentation).
Register such port to CM or CME as if it was an ephone (also described in documentation) and assign it a DN.
You will be able to use flash for transfer and keypad sequences for other features.

To be honest with you, having given you the exact information you needed, then been rated only "3" in return, that is not really the best incentive to further help.
