Hi Team,
Need urgent help
We have sucessfully installed CUCM 10.5 Pub and IM&presence PUB on VM platform when we try to install CUCm subscriber we are getting an error - network validation failed for both thye servers
Also We have checked all the Ports which is open also connectivity is also fine from Publisher to the Subscriber IP
What is going wrong Please help
Are we missing any ports? We have 2 networks CUCM PUB and IM &Presence PUB is inj DMZ zone
and the subscriber which we are installing in in corporate zone but we have opened the ports and reachabilty is available
Is it a bug? or Is there any thing which we need to do additionally in CUCM 10 as its a new version?
Please help Our deployment is stuck !!!!
Regards,
Ajith

You definitely have a network issue...
Have you looked at the firewall logs to see what is happening there...Are you pointing to the correct Publisher..This has to be the CUCM publisher.

Dear,
We can able to ping subscriber IP address from publisher node---> that means there is connectivity between this nodes
So would you sugest with some ports - whic communicates between PUB and SUB during installation?

Nope, did many installs none yet. Why do you have stuff in your DMZ? Also, did you add the subscriber's hostname/IP in the publisher. I would even reboot the pub once before attempting again.

Dear,
The reason behing keeping the servers in DMZ ius customers requirement.
We have checked the IP a have any option to trace address, HOst name entry etc in CUCM PUB
We feel some port must be blocking it
Is there any way when we are installing the subscriber can we get trace? or something which will let us know something is blocking it to go further!!
As we all know when we install the CUCM or Presence only we can add information and click ok and proceed ther is any mechanisam in the back end which will let us know if the packets are going to the CUCM Pub from Subscriber install process?
As I know when CUCM .Presence OS gets install we dont

Ajith,
Here are the ports that cucm uses. Do you have a firewall engineer. He should be bale to tell you if any packets are been dropped..All he needs to do is look at the firewall logs
