Hi Friends,
I am experiencing the following issues with cisco 7945.
I have successfully configured telephony service on Cisco 2921 router with Ios
c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.151-4.M3.bin i and I can able to make intra site calls using the Cisco 7945, but failed to make inter site calls. I have re-checked the dial-peer configuration, but it seems that correct.
Site-1 Router
=============
dial-peer voice 214 voip
description CALL TO SITE2
destination-pattern 1077..
session target ipv4:10.77.13.254
Site-2 Router
=============
!
dial-peer voice 214 voip
description CALL TO SITE1
destination-pattern 1055..
session target ipv4:10.55.13.254
The second issue is with the "Cisco video advantage" on the other two sites, I have installed “video advantage” in two intra-site XP-machines, and can make audio calls, but not able to perform the video chat. I have enabled the video on ip phone, but on task bar, I there is an exclamatory mark on the video advantage icon and showing that the link between the phone and the camera has broken.
Please advice...

Ranjith,
Issue 1: What happens when you make inter site calls and what is an example extension number being called?
Issue 2: Did you enable the Span to PC port on the phones?

Please post configs of both routers.

Hi Yasheel, Chris,
Yes Span to PC port is enabled.
I have made the numbers as
site-1 ip ph 1--no : 107710,
site-1 ip ph 2--no : 107711
site-2 ip ph 1--no : 105510,
site-2 ip ph 2--no : 105511
site-3 ip ph 1--no : 106610,
site-3 ip ph 2--no : 106611
I can make calls from 107710 to 107711, also I can able to call to the third site from 1 and vice versa, without any issues...
but can not make to 105510 & 105511.
Thanks,
Ranjith

Are these SCCP or SIP phones?
To get started can you post "debug voice dialpeer" from both routers when making a call?

Hi Chris, Yasheel,
Phones are SCCP. I have done the "debug dial peer" on both the sites and found that the issue was with the multiple tag found on the site -2.Removed the tag and the first Issue got resolved.
Unfortunately the issue with the “video advantage” still persists.
Thanks,
Ranjith.

Ranjith,
Another thing to check would be the firewalls on the XP machines and that the phones have the videos icon on the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Alex,

Configuring VIDEO is a prerequisite
This works for me on 12.4.24T2

Hi Friends,
The issue was due to the symmentec end point protection firewall blocking the cisco ip phones. I have contacted them and they have told me that it is a known issue and provided the solution has to exclude the ip phone mac addresses in the ep firewall. Done the same and the issue got resolved.
Thanks,
