Dear All,
I am setting up a new office. The voice infrastructure consists of an ISR 4351 running CME 11.7, 8841 & 8851 SIP phones and an E1 PRI line.
The problem is I am unable to register the above phones to CME.
1. Phones have received IP address, default gateway and tftp information and I see this on the phones.
2. I am registering the phones using SIP.
3. Trying auto-registration because there are 600 phones.
4. Configuration:
voice register global
mode cme
source-address x.x.x.x port 5060
max- dn
max-pool
auto-register
auto-assign 1000 to 1999
password 123
tftp-path flash:
create profile
5. Phone screen show phone is registering.
6. Tried to register single phone but no luck.
7. When I do restart under voice register pool it throws no contact error
8. Ran debug tftp events and the log says looking for ctl file , looking xml file, looking for Sepmac file etc.
8. UCK9 permanent license is available.
9. After entering max-dn and max-pool commands a license agreement pops up and it says evaluation 60 days.
am I missing something here? Do I need to have loads in flash of the router? Phones came with sip88xx.11.7.1.17 won't this be sufficient for the devices to registered.
please assist with this.

Hi,i have the same problem too.And I can't find the command "load 8851".

router1(config-register-global)#load ?

Hi,
It depends on your CME version.
Mine is 11.7 and I managed to resolve the above issue.

HI,i solved this problem.
by using the command:
voice register pool-type 8851
xml-config maxNumCalls 4
xml-config busyTrigger 2
phoneload-support
num-lines 2
description Cisco SIP Phone 8851
reference-pooltype 8945
by the way,my 8851 is trying to get the file named XmlDefault.cnf.xml.
where do you get this file?
or can you share yours to me please?

XmlDefault.cnf.xml, This is a default configuration file is it looking for.
Is there any issue now?
