hello experts,
i am running out with this issue for the day. Please find the attached config.
i have tried debug ccsip messages but not getting any logs there.
debug ccsip events
debug ccsip errors showing me this error.
Queued event from SIP SPI : SIPSPI_EV_OUTBOUND_REGISTER
under show sip-ua regsiter status its showing reg = NO
Please help

Sam,
post your config, typically if you configure your cube as a SIP UA, you would see SIP Register requests leavening your CUBE and a response coming from your provider, debug ccsip messages / term mon , would show you this. are you getting any debug information at all?
Please rate if helpful.

bro.. at the beginning i saw some messages from ccsip messages output, later on no logs are generating.. in those previous logs it shown as 502/internal error.
i don't know why the debug ccsip messages is not showing any logs now.. do you have any idea??

do a "term mon" after you enter the debug ccsip messages. These debug messages are crucial to solving this. make a call and do for instance debug voip dial peer and see if you get any output then, if not you need to check things like your debug buffer size on your gateway.
Please rate if useful

term mon enabled already, i can see other logs popping out..
i have cleard logs and checking.. how can i set the debug buffer size ?
any ideas on the config posted?

now i am not able to see any logs, i have cleared all the logs.
Any ideas bro?

Not sure, but I think I see the issue.
ip domain name bangalore.relianceims.in
ip name-server 10.237.250.225
Why are you doing this? The 'ip domain name' is the domain name of the router, and I'm guessing that 'bangalore.relianceims.in' is the FQDN of the ITSP of which you're trying to register to.
I'm guessing that you tried to add a local DNS record on the router, so that bangalore.relianceims.in will be resolved, but that's not how you do it.
Here's an example of how you really need to do it:
So I think currently if you'll try to ping or trace route the 'bangalore.relianceims.in' address, you won't get any response.
BUT, you can just change your sip-ua and dial-peer configuration that instead of pointing to "bangalore.relianceims.in" it'll point to an IP address, which I'm guessing this is the IP of the ITSP:
10.237.250.225.
So you don't see any SIP REGISTER message probably because it is a networking issue, as the address cannot be resolved and it won't open TCP connections to it.

The unauthorized is OK, because that is part of SIP registration. The Forbidden message isn't.
Please try to remove this line in the sip-ua section:
authentication username +914038123789 password 7 03550958525A77
In my opinion, it's not a relevant one, and maybe it's interfering with the registration. As you can see, the password hash in this line, is different from the 'credentials' command.
And in my configurations, I never used the 'authentication' command and it is working fine.

I think you might need to contact the service provider to ask them why they're rejecting you, maybe they have more detailed logs on their side.
Basically, you're sending your REGISTER correctly, and you get 401 Unauthorized with their nonce, so in your second REGISTER message you reply on the nonce they sent. This is the authentication is SIP registration.
So maybe the username / password aren't correct, either on your side or their. Or maybe something else wrong in their configuration.
BTW, can you post again the updated configuration of your GW?

i have just modified the credential usrename command, here is the file
and now the output is this:

Oh, that's just great! So there was some issue with the password configured I guess.
Try to make calls on this SIP trunk. If you'll encounter another 403 Forbidden SIP message after the INVITE, try adding this command under the sip-ua section:
connection-reuse
There are providers that after they authenticate you, they store on their SBC's (for example) the source port you did the REGISTER with. If you do not put this command, it'll try to open a new connection towards the ITSP with a different source port, so when the SIP request will arrive to the ITSP, they won't be able to authenticate the request because they know the an SIP agent with your IP address came from source port 5060, and suddenly they see another source port, so they reject you for that.
So just keep it in mind.
