unity connection backup

Hello All,

In CUCM we are configuring backup only in PUB and if we verify the backup status you can see all SUBs backups also done by the PUB. What about unity connection? whether I have to configure dedicated backup for each unity connection? or configuring backup in unity PUB is enough?

Hi Murali,

This is normal behavior for a Unity Connection cluster Have a look at this note;

Note When a Cisco Unity Connection cluster is configured, we recommend that you back up the

publisher server and, optionally, the subscriber server. The best practice would be to set up backups

for both the Pub and Sub separately.
