unity connection unified msging email delivery

hi just got a question regarding unity connection 8.6 unified messaging with exchange 2007.  when someone leaves a msg to me (either internal/external), i recieve the email fine with wav file attached. however, when i read that email, the envelop icon does not become opened envelop.  at least thats the normal behavior for other emails.

attached pic will show you an example of unity con email after reading it. and a regular email. pls let me know your thoughts.

What happens when you hit the Send\Recieve on your Outlook, after listening to your voicemail?

same issue. envelop icons do not open up.

This is expected behavior per the product documentation.

Note Even if all the messages in your Inbox are in the Read state, the Outlook envelop icon still remains closed.
