Hi,
My customer wants to upgrade the current unity express from 8.6.1 to the latest, but I cannot seem to find any version after 8.x.
The CME got upgraded to 10.5 after an IOS upgrade and is compatible with 8.6 as per the documentation.
Can someone confirm whether Cisco discontinued Unity Express after 8.6 and what is the replacement? Is it going to be Unity Connection?
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Libin,
There are no plans yet to discontinue CUE 8.x as per the EOL info
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/unified-communications/unity-express/eos-eol-notice-listing.html
You can upgrade to the latest 8.6.11 version

Hi Manish,
Thanks for the info.
Any reasons why Cisco is not developing CUE beyond 8.6?

Libin, this is something that cannot be answered here at CSC unfortunately. The question that you are asking is more of a Feature and Road Map question. Contact your Cisco Accounts Manager or SE for more information on this.
