I'm looking for someone's short and sweet take on upgrading UC applications to the current 7.x releases. In short is it worth it, major features, and high-level upgrade steps.
We have Unity UM 5, UCM 6, and Presence 6.
Thanks.

Hi Brian,
Hope all is well!
My take on this is that if you and your users are happy with your current builds then there is no reason to rush down the upgrade path. If you have compelling reasons to migrate due to Bugs or "feature" changes then, of course, look to move ahead. It's not like your running Unity 3.x and Callmanager 3.x ;-)
Have a look at the attached doc I put together that highlights CUCM feature changes up to and including CUCM 7.0 (I'll add 7.1 one of these days)
For Unity;

Hope this helps!

PS: I'll leave Presence references to someone like Michael who really knows whats what!

Thanks Rob ... your input is always appreciated. The end-customer decided they wanted the latest and greatest, so we're going ahead with the upgrades.
