Solved: Upgrading device pack for subscriber only

Hello,

Is it possible to upgrade the device pack for the subscriber only?

I'm facing some issues with the publisher (the upgrade doesn't work - seems like a bug in CUCM) it is v8.6 - which I'm only facing with the publisher. And I need to add new device models to configure them.

So is it possible to upgrade only the subscriber? Will this cause any problems with the publisher?

No that is not possible. Adding new models requires an update of the database and that is done on the publisher. Besides that you should always install all device packs and firmware upgrade on all nodes in your cluster.

Device package should be applied on all your nodes.
