Users are able to receive calls but not able to make outbound calls

Hi All,

              

We are facing issue with outbound calls. Though we are able to receive calls without any issue.

Once we lift the handset we get message " your call can not be completed as dialed". No issue from service provider.

Please let me know if anybody faced same issue in past.

You have a blank translation pattern that the phones are able to see (based on their calling search space).  This is why as soon as you go off hook you hear that message that your call cannot be completed as dialed because you have not entered any digits but it is matching a pattern.  Go to your translation patterns and look for a pattern that is blank.

Provide system and version, though it sounds like CUCM, use Dialed Number Analyzer to see what is happening.
