I am cureently trying to get modems to work over an SCCP VG224 with CallManager 7. At present the modems can recieve but cannot send. The PSTN gateway they are using is MGCP and everything is configured for Modem Pass through end to end. Has anyone seen anything like this before?
Thanks,
Justin

Modem passthrough doesn't seem a good idea.
Should use modem relay and H.323.
Or place FXS cards in router, end of any trouble,.

I found that VG224's are great for Fax's, but not for modems. I use ATA
186/188's for modems as they worked without any issues.

Maybe a little on the late side but... have a VG2951, VG224 CUCM 7.1.3 H323. Gas company calling inbound on DID line through VG224 and they could not connect did the changes to the port below and Gas compnay can now connect to modem, all the best.
