I have a VG310 with SCCP configured ports, most ports are registered but I have some that have a status of 'Rejected' or 'None'.
I'm trying to look for some logic in the config between the registered and not registered ports but I'm struggling to find any.
Port 0/0/0 is not registered 0/0/1 is.
VG config looks like:
stcapp supplementary-services
port 0/0/0
fallback-dn 1111
port 0/0/1
fallback-dn 1112
!
voice-port 0/0/0
cptone GB
timeouts initial 60
timeouts interdigit 15
timeouts call-disconnect 5
timeouts ringing infinity
timeouts wait-release 5
timing hookflash-in 1000 80
!
voice-port 0/0/1
cptone GB
timeouts initial 60
timeouts interdigit 15
timeouts call-disconnect 5
timeouts ringing infinity
timeouts wait-release 5
timing hookflash-in 1000 80
!
dial-peer voice 107778 pots
service stcapp
port 0/0/0
!
dial-peer voice 100071 pots
service stcapp
port 0/0/1
!
show stcapp device summary
Total Devices: 24
Total Calls in Progress: 0
Total Call Legs in Use: 0
Port Device Device Call Dev Directory Dev
Identifier Name State State Type Number Cntl
---------- --------------- -------- ------------- ------- ----------- ----
0/0/0 ANAXXXXXXXX0000 OOS UNREGISTERED ALG Not Avail UNKN
0/0/1 ANAXXXXXXXX0001 IS IDLE ALG 1112 CCM
!
Also if I do a 'show sccp' I do not see 'ANAXXXXXXXX0000' in the list. Is there anything I need to do kick start the SCCP process? I've tried to 'no sccp'/'sccp' and I can see all the ports go unregistered and then registered again but not 0000.
Thanks

Hi Rajan, unfortunately I'm not at the site to be able to check the physical patching. Would bad patching cause the ports to have a registered status of None/Rejected? I would have thought that even with no device connected to the port it would still show as registered?
Thanks
Matt

have you tried "no stcapp", "stcapp"?
I ran into similar issues recently and on some ports the above worked, on other did not until the analog GW was rebooted, so if that is an option you can try that as well.

Hi Chris,
Yes I tried that as well but the result was the same.
I ask someone onsite to go and patch into the panel and test with a phone. I don't believe they made any changes to the configuration on the VG or on CUCM but they reported that things worked as expected and when I checked back on CUCM I could see the port was now registered!
Certainly some odd behavior and the physical must have played a part in it.
